Ones spiritual life.  In a recent Leadership meeting the topic of goals came up.  We are all going around telling one another about what we will set out to do this year.  Each one having something to do with growing the business and making more money.  Jeremy stopped the group and asked “How’s everyone’s spiritual life?”  I will say, the meeting from that moment forward had a whole new appeal.  I lead everyone into a series of exercises.  We were to write about where our current world we were living in was spiritually, emotionally, and personally.  The second exercise was to write the vision of how you would want it to be if you could have it your way.  And then last create goals that would support that life.  Find an accountability partner in the room and get started!

It is true that we cannot do it alone.  “Cast they burden upon the Lord.” Psalm 11.22

If we take on work for the Lord and get out of touch with Him, the sense of responsibility will be overwhelmingly crushing.  But if we roll back on God that which he has put upon us, he takes away the sense of responsibility by bringing in the realization of Himself.

Commit to God what he has given you, put it on Him and yourself with it, and the burden is lighted by the sense of companionship.  Do not run from the burden… Run to God!

This looks like a super cool art project that I am willing to try with my daughter. It is super cool to see her come to life when she gets a crayon, a marker, a note pad, a pencil, a dry erase marker, glue stick. She created her 4th vision board on New Years day. The girls got something, who knows where she got it from? ; )

I like the sun, I love the beach, and I will always take the ocean. I am looking forward to hitting up some beach this year. I have some Costa Rica on the mind. If you can dream it then you can see it and if you can see it then it can happen! Can you smell it!

Where are you going to travel to this year? If you are going to do it, set the date and start saving!

IT takes knowledge, skill and desire.   The knowing what to do and why, the skill to know how to do it, and the desire or motivation to make something a habit in our lives.

Sacrifice now for what you want eventually.

The new year is fast approaching.  What will you sacrifice so that you can get what you want?

If you have spent any amount of time with me at all, you know that I love to dance, and I am seriously talking about one to two minutes.  I also love fashion.  Now this could be confusing.  I am typically in a pair of lulu pants.  Ya, I know, limited.  I am ready to step out of the box.  To be authentic, what it means to own YOU!  I have come to the realization that the threads woven inside me (the way that I am put together), God put those threads and they will never leave.  The only thing that could ever allow me to not let them be known,  is that I don’t listen to my true heart!  These threads that lead me, lead me to live my life. We often times get so caught up in what you think, that I start to alter my plans, oh, I mean, GODS plan.   Ever time that my heart tells me what to do and I get in the way of it, opportunity lost.  Opportunity for GOD to do his work, opportunity for me to step up to the game of playing in the major league, lost.  I was invited to play, I choose whether or not to get in the game.

The fork in the road, the knife I chose, the life I choose, the life I was called to live.

You may wonder why I chose to post this video, allow me to speak to it now:

First Nicole Scherzinger is hot.  I will own those blue pants and brown boots.  And more then likely you will see me in a dance video with that outfit on.  2nd, Her words speak to me … I love my Kris, and I will make sure that I sing those words to him next time I see him, oh, that is right now, hang on……

The girls that are dancing in the 2nd part of the video remind me of some of my home girls.  First, a shout out to my sista Jess Sharrett Stephen, I am pretty sure she is in this video with me!  Lisa Thiel, when Nicole throws her hands in the air, well, that is your best dance move, and since Nicole did it, you definitely need to keep it.  Ashely Thiel, if you have not seen this chick dance you are for sure missing out.  She is strait up nasty! ALy Willier, my newest friend and colleague, I cannot wait to create our rock star series!   And last but not least I want to shout our to my new sista Jess Estrada, she has a spunk that is there for the dance and I want her in my first video for sure!

oh and one last thing, 50 cent is – HOT.  Bottom line.

I do believe that I am most rewarded.  I have had the opportunity to see the members of Team Crucible step up their game of playing big.  I know that the relationships that I have been able to build because of the understanding that it is about support, recognition, and acknowledgement.   I not only have seen the members of my team step up but I have also seen the members on all other teams step up to the game of playing to excellence.

For those of you familer with level 5 leaders,  in “Good to Great” – I am not there yet, I am determined to become L5L.
